一 | Colombo, Oct 17 (UNI) The Paris Club bas assured its fullest support for Sri Lanka’s ongoing efforts to find an early resolution to its debt crisis, State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe said in remarks published on Monday.
“Met with William Roos, Co-Chairman of the Paris Club, during the IMF/World Bank annual meetings. Roos assured the Paris Club’s fullest support for Sri Lanka’s efforts to find an early resolution to its debt crisis,” the Daily Mirror quoted the Minister as saying.
Sri Lanka is battling its worst economic crisis since independence in 1948.

新华社北京8月25日电 企业破产法修订草案25日提请全国人大常委会会议二次审议，草案二审稿在个人破产规则、破产保护规则、重整规则、跨境破产规则等多方面作出修改完善。
现行企业破产法自2007年起施行。2025年9月，十四届全国人大常委会第十七次会议对企业破产法修订草案进行初次审议，会后草案面向社会公开征求意见。
针对草案一审稿，有意见认为，应完善重整前协商的方式、程序，并做好与重整程序的衔接。为此，草案二审稿增设“重整前协商”一节，并明确重整前协商包括当事人达成重整协议和制定初步重整计划草案预先表决两种方式，以及两种方式进入重整程序的法律后果。同时，草案增加规定，依法进行重整前协商的，当事人可以向人民法院推荐管理人。
此外，草案还完善跨境破产规则，明确破产程序域外效力、我国法院管辖情形及国际司法协助机制等。【编辑:王琴】。
